Rena: The One Who Was Already On My Feed

Meet Rena. The stamping queen, the voiceover specialist, and the one who had already caught my eye before she even knew who I was.

The First Time I Noticed Her

I was scrolling TikTok, as you do, and Rena just kept appearing. And I mean kept appearing. Her content was already making an impact on my feed and I could see her potential clear as day. The way she created, the way she spoke, the way she just owned it. I clocked her straight away. I didn't know her name yet, but I knew she had something. She'd not agree with me, her content was really good back then too.

So when she applied to be a TCC Brand Ambassador, I already knew exactly who she was. And I was ready. Me and Nikki knew who she was, and Nikki told me she liked her, I did too, so maybe Nikki pushed me to have Rena too, like she did Emily haha

The One Who Waited

Here's the thing about Rena that I think says everything about her. She joined ready for when we launched. She applied and then spent hours, actual hours, looking and waiting for us to finally open. Hours. Who does that? Someone who genuinely cares, that's who. Someone who isn't just ticking a box or chasing a freebie. Someone who actually wants to be part of something.

That kind of dedication is rare. And I noticed it.

Why I Chose Her

Honestly? It was a combination of everything. What I'd already seen of her on TikTok. The way she applied. The passion that came through in everything she put forward. I could already see where she was headed and I wanted TCC to be part of that journey.

She gets what we're building. She understands the community, she understands the value, and she brings something completely unique to the table. There was never really a question.

Meeting Her at Niche

I met Rena for the very first time in person at Niche this year. Now, we'd already got to know each other so well that I genuinely wasn't worried about it being awkward. And it absolutely wasn't. Her confidence just reeks out of her, in the best possible way. She walked in and I thought, yes. There she is. Exactly as I'd imagined, but even better in person.

Watching her alongside the rest of the team that day was one of those moments. I was so proud.

Our Journey So Far

Rena has already made a real impact on TCC and she's only just getting started. She inspired our dual form box. And there are more ideas coming. I can already tell you that. She is so honest about which products would work well in each box, and that honesty is genuinely invaluable. She's also had us absolutely cracking up more times than I can count. She is straight to the point, no fluff, no nonsense, and it is so refreshing.

She's inspired members of our community too. More and more people have come to us because of her, and there are more to come. That impact is real.

• Her honesty. She will tell you exactly what she thinks, straight to the point. In this industry, that is genuinely rare and I love her for it.
• The voiceovers. Chef's kiss. Every single time.
• The stamping. She has made it her superpower and it shows.
• The way she waited hours for us to open. Hours. That is dedication and I will never forget it.
• Her confidence in person. She walked into Niche and owned the room. I aspire.
• The fact that she's had us in stitches while also being one of the most useful voices we have. Funny AND brilliant. The dream combination.
• Her daughter. I am yet to meet that sassy little girl in person but I genuinely cannot wait. I really want her to meet my kids and my cousin's triplets. That playdate needs to happen!

Why She's TCC Through and Through

Rena was here from the very beginning. Before we launched, before anyone knew what TCC was going to be, she was already waiting. Already invested. Already ready.

She's brought ideas that have shaped our boxes. She's brought honesty that has made us better. She's brought humour that has made this whole thing so much more fun. And she's brought a community with her, people who trust her, who follow her, who now follow us too.

She has been with us from day one and I genuinely cannot wait to see what she does next. Whatever it is, TCC will be right there with her.

Rena is the perfect BA because she’s a newer nail tech experiencing everything in real time, so she brings a fresh perspective that keeps us grounded. She’s ridiculously talented for someone so new, and her perfectionist streak means she spots the tiniest details that the rest of us might miss. Best of all, she’s never afraid to say, “I don’t think that’s quite right,” which is exactly what you want in a team. Behind the scenes we’re constantly laughing… just don’t ask her about the Crocs. 😂
