Terms & Conditions
Effective from 1st August 2024
1. About The Curated Club
The Curated Club is a monthly subscription box created for nail technicians and students. Each box contains a curated selection of nail tools, accessories, exclusive designs, and a downloadable PDF with business and mindset resources.
We also offer a digital-only subscription, giving members access to our latest business and mindset PDFs each month, plus support and guidance through our exclusive WhatsApp community. Perfect for techs who want to grow their business without the physical box.
2. Subscription Details
Subscriptions for the boxes are billed monthly at £40. When you subscribe, you agree to an automatic monthly renewal unless cancelled prior to your billing date (the 20th of each month).
We also offer a PDF-only subscription at £15 per month. PDF subscribers will receive the latest business and mindset PDF delivered directly to their email on the 1st of each month. This subscription also renews automatically on the 20th of each month unless cancelled beforehand.
You can manage, pause or cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard or by contacting us at laurie@thecuratedclub.co.uk.
3. Billing & Payments
- Initial payment is taken at the time of sign-up.
- Recurring payments are processed on the 20th of each month.
- If your payment fails, we’ll notify you via email with a link to update your payment method.
- The automatic system will try another 3 times, if funds aren't available after these tries, your subscription will automatically be cancelled. You can always pop back in and sign up again in the future though.
We accept most major credit and debit cards. Payments are securely processed via our Shopify-approved payment gateway.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Boxes are dispatched between the 1st and 7th of each month via Royal Mail or an equivalent UK courier. You will receive an email notification once your box has shipped. The PDF education that you get with your box subscription will come to you on the 1st of each month.
For one-off PDF purchases, the PDF will be delivered to your email immediately after purchase.
If you subscribe to the PDF-only membership, the latest PDF will be delivered to your email on the 1st of each month.
Please note: to receive any educational emails or PDFs, you must be subscribed to receive marketing emails.
Please ensure your delivery address and email address is up to date before the 20th of the month. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping details.
5. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being billed for the next box, cancellations must be made before the 20th of the current month.
Once payment has been taken, the order is considered confirmed and cannot be refunded or cancelled.
6. Refund Policy
Due to the personalised and curated nature of our boxes, we do not offer refunds once a payment has been processed. Each box is hand-packed based on your subscription and includes digital content which cannot be returned.
If you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 5 working days with a clear photo and your order details, and we’ll be happy to help.
7. One-Off Boxes & Gifts
When available, one-time boxes and gift boxes can be purchased from our online shop. These are subject to availability and are not part of the monthly subscription cycle.
Gift purchases are non-refundable.
8. Digital Downloads & Advice Disclaimer
Each monthly box includes a digital PDF sent via email. These resources are for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, resold, or distributed.
All digital content is intended for general guidance and educational purposes only. Results from implementing business or mindset suggestions will vary depending on individual effort, circumstances, and external factors. No specific outcome is guaranteed.
9. Product Disclaimer
While we carefully select and collaborate with trusted brands and suppliers, The Curated Club is not responsible for any individual reactions to ingredients, tools, or products included in the box. Please read all product labels, patch test where appropriate, and consult manufacturers directly if you have specific concerns or allergies.
10. Intellectual Property & Trademark Notice
The Curated Club™ is a registered trademark in the UK. All branding, logos, product designs, digital content, photography, and written materials are protected by intellectual property and copyright law.
Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution of any content associated with The Curated Club is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
11. Collaborations & Brand Features
We love partnering with brands, creators, and educators. If you'd like to collaborate, please email branding@thecuratedclub.co.uk.
All submissions are reviewed, but inclusion is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to curate our boxes in line with our brand values and quality standards.
12. Privacy & Data
We are committed to protecting your personal information. Data is collected for the purpose of fulfilling your order, managing your subscription, and providing updates about our products and offers.
Your information is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and will never be sold or shared with third parties without your consent. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to Terms
The Curated Club reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. You will be notified of significant changes via email or a notice on our website.
Continued use of the site or subscription service after changes have been made will indicate your acceptance of the new terms.
