The August Box! Dual Forms, Dream Brands & The Month That Changed Everything 🤯

Right. I need to tell you about August. Because this month has been something else entirely. Like, genuinely one of those months where you sit back at the end of it and think… wow. We actually did that. 🤯

Let me start at the beginning.

Where It All Started 💅

This box came from Rena, one of our brilliant BAs. She is absolutely obsessed with dual forms, and honestly, her work speaks for itself. So when she brought the idea to the table, it made complete sense. Dual forms. Let's do it.

But if we were going dual forms, we needed the best person in the room. And that person is Loz.

Loz has trained Rena. She's trained hundreds of other techs. She is the person when it comes to this. So we asked. And she said yes. And I genuinely could have cried on the spot. 🥰

What followed was days and days of working with Loz on the education, and I'm not exaggerating when I say she has produced the best PDF we have ever had. She linked videos inside it (I didn't even know that was possible 😂), made it look incredible, and brought so much knowledge and care to every single page.

I also added my bit on the end about pricing, because you know me, I cannot help myself. Techs pricing right is something I am so passionate about and I will never stop banging that drum. 🥁

The Brands Behind August ✨

The Month That Changed Everything 😭

Okay. I have to talk about this. Because it was chaotic and emotional and absolutely incredible all at once.

Over two nights, we kind of went crazy with orders. Like… crazy crazy. We literally doubled our subscribers. In two nights. I was sitting there watching the orders come in going "oh my god oh my god oh my god" and then immediately going "WAIT WE NEED MORE PRODUCTS" 😂 I was with clients on both evenings, they we're in shock too and had to fetch me the tissues, honestly.

Luckily, we had enough. Just about. But I cried. A lot. Happy tears, overwhelmed tears, proud tears, all of them. It was one of those moments where you realise that what you're building actually means something to people, and that is the most humbling feeling in the world!!

And then came packing day. Which, let me tell you, was a long day. 😅

We spent two hours just making the boxes up, putting the stickers on, printing and laminating, before we'd even started packing a single one. And because of the extra orders this month, I needed extra hands. So I called in the troops. My kids. 😂

My 16 year old was dreading it. My 8 year old really did not want to be there. And yet… by the end of it, something kind of magical happened. My eldest got into a total flow, like flash, just flying through the packing while I was doing the finishing touches, adding the leaflets and sorting the tissue paper. And my youngest? Absolutely loving prepping the boxes ready for his brother. The two of them working in complete sync, without even realising it. 🥹

It was a long, long day. But honestly? As a mum, it was one of the most humbling and beautiful things I've ever got to experience. Watching my kids show up for something I've built, and actually smash it, I'll never forget that. 💗 (if this was sent to you on paper, you'd see dried up tears, oh it's been emotional this month haha)

We also completely sold out 😭 Which means unfortunately some people were disappointed because they were too late. I'm so sorry if that was you. But… what if we bring it back? You never know. Watch this space. 👀

Something New We Tried This Month… 💬

So. We did something a little different this month, and honestly? The response has completely blown us away.

We invited the brands into our WhatsApp group.

I wasn't sure how it would land. It felt like a bit of a risk. Would it feel too much? Would it change the vibe of the community? But I needn't have worried. It has gone down absolutely amazingly. The brands have been brilliant in there, the community has loved having that direct connection, and it's added something really special to the whole TCC experience.

So we're going to keep going. We're trialling it for another couple of months to see how it evolves, but right now? I'm so glad we did it. It feels like exactly the kind of thing that makes TCC different. Not just a box. A proper community. 🤍
